Clothing:

Covid-19 Update: Masks are required at all times.

Clothing recommendations based on area:

Please be aware that removal of clothing may be required in order to access the area you would like to have tattooed. Please wear clothing which will allow full and easy access to the tattoo area, which will keep you comfortably covered during the appointment, and which will accommodate the bandaged tattoo afterward. Please note that it is possible ink will get on the clothing closest to the tattoo area, so choose accordingly - dark clothes work best.

Mid/Lower Arms: T shirts or tank tops are ideal. If wearing a longer shirt, make sure it can be easily and comfortably rolled up several inches past the upper limit of the tattoo area.

Upper Arms and upper/front shoulders; Tank tops work best.

Upper chest: Low cut tank top, button down shirt that opens in front, or bikini top can work depending on the size of the chest tattoo; this area may require shirt removal depending on how low the tattoo goes, so consider your ideal placement when choosing what to wear and make sure clothing does not cover the area you want tattooed. Wearing of a bra for chest tattoo not ideal as it can distort the shape of the chest and how the tattoo lays on the body. Pasties available at no charge on request.

Upper back/neck: Low back/spagetti strap tank top ideal for upper back. As always, make sure the clothing you pick does not cover the area you want tattooed. Racerback tank or bra not ideal for this area. A higher back tank top could work for an upper neck tattoo.

Full back: As the back must be accessible, a hoodie or button down shirt that you can put on backwards to cover the chest area works great. If you wear bras and choose to wear one to the appointment, please wear one that unhooks from the back.

Sternum/underbreast tattoo: A button down shirt that opens from the front combined with pasties is ideal. A bra may work if the tattoo does not go up between the breast area or is not too close to the breast area generally; front opening bra preferred. Please wear clothing that you don’t mind getting tattoo ink on. Pasties available at no charge on request.

Ribs: A shirt that can easily be taped up is best. Bodysuits and dresses are not ideal due to unnecessary body exposure.

Hip: A bikini bottom that can be untied at the side or very stretchy underwear that can be taped in place work best. A thong bodysuit can work, but make sure it accommodates a few inches past the highest and widest area you want the tattoo to be located. Bodysuits can put a lot of pressure on the skin when pulled up higher than the design intended, so don’t count on stretching it past natural fit; this will just make me wrestle with the clothing the entire time and make the tattoo take longer than it should.

Thigh: Stretchy or rollable shorts preferred. Skirt can work but runs the risk of exposing more; longer skirt provides more personal coverage as it can be draped.

Calves: Shorts, skirt, or pants that are loose enough to roll up.

Feet: Foot will be bandaged when you leave, make sure you have roomy shoes or flip flops to accommodate this. Tight, heavy or full coverage shoes may be painful due to swelling.

Private changing area in bathroom available. Please note bathroom is a small space.

Sanitation note: If you are coming from a camping trip, hike or workout, please make sure to grab a quick shower and change before coming in! I appreciate it and it helps keep the space pleasant for everyone.
