RESCHEDULING POLICY

General Rescheduling Policy:

You can reschedule your appointment once up to four weeks in advance of the appointment date. Please contact me via email, and I will send you a link to my booking calendar for you to pick a new date.

  1. (Number one, and most important) Contact me: You must contact me directly via email or text for all reschedules. The reschedule link in your appointment confirmation email is disabled, and additional appointments booked without my express consent will not be honored.

  2. Please provide as much notice as possible: This allows me the opportunity to work with someone else that day.

  3. Last minute reschedules: Please be aware of the impact last minute reschedules have on my small business and my ability to work with someone else that day. I have held a spot for you, often for months, in the trust that you will show up for your appointment.

    • Reschedules that happen less that four weeks out from your scheduled appointment date will result in the loss of your deposit and a new one will be required.

    • In the case of a rescheduling request sent less than one week before the scheduled appointment, I reserve the right to decline rebooking. If offered, the rebooking will require a new deposit in the amount of $400.

    • Same day reschedules may or may not be offered the opportunity to rebook as determined by me depending on my assessment of the circumstances; contact with me BEFORE your scheduled appointment start time required, otherwise it will be considered a no show. A new deposit in the amount of $400 will be required.

    • No shows will not be offered the chance to continue working with me except under extenuating circumstances as determined by me. If offered, a new deposit of $500 will be required.

    • Illness: Same day reschedules due to serious illness are accepted as long as proof of illness (doctors note and/or proof of visit to urgent care or ER related to this specific incident) is provided within 72 hours after the rescheduled appointment. Without a doctors note, you will need a new deposit in the amount of $400 to reschedule and your current deposit will be forfeit.

  4. Rescheduling availability: When rescheduling, please understand all reschedules will be booked within currently available time slots - I do not have time reserved in my schedule specifically for reschedule requests. My books open and close periodically, and tend to become completely full many months out. It all boils down to availability, and while if I have sooner openings I will offer them to you it may be a long wait before a new date is available.

  5. Rebooking window: If offered the chance to reschedule, you must book a new date within one week of the offer or your deposit will no longer be valid. If a new deposit is required, that must also be received within one week of the original appointment date.

    • The new appointment must be made no further out than the month of my furthest availability. I am not able to book past when I know my own plans and schedule, usually no more than 4-6 months out. Deposits will NOT be held indefinitely. Continuous rescheduling or being unavailable for rescheduling within 6 months time will result in loss of deposit.

    • I can’t guarantee that the exact same time or week day slot as you held previously will be available when you are rebooking. You may need to choose a day of the week or time that is less preferred by you.

  6. Response time: While I am not always able to respond immediately to a reschedule request, rest assured that as long as your message was sent al least four weeks in advance that your request will be honored.
