masks:

Masks are required at all times during your appointment. Please wear the best mask you have; at this time KN95 masks are readily available at stores and pharmacies and are highly recommended. Please plan ahead.

Guests:

Guests are not allowed at this time to minimize Covid 19 risks and exposure.

Food:

  • Please make sure to EAT a solid meal before your appointment! This makes a world of difference in your comfort during the session.

  • Covid-19 Update: Snacks cannot be consumed anywhere within the building. Water or beverages are allowed, but they must have lids and must have a straw or mouthpiece that allows the beverage to be consumed without removing your mask. I have paper straws available if needed, just ask. I am not able to provide beverages at this time.

drugs + alcohol

Taking pain killers for tattoos: Tylenol is permitted before your appointment; if you want to use it, take it about an hour beforehand in order to give it a chance to work. I’m sorry to say that it does not do much, so don’t get your hopes up, but if you want to use it you can. Ibuprofen and aspirin are not recommended as they thin the blood and can affect your tattoo experience and healing negatively. Heavier pain killers are not allowed or recommended, unless part of a regularly prescribed regimen from your doctor for a separate condition and must not be taken at a higher dosage than the prescribed amount.

Drugs: While marijuana is legal in Oregon, it is not legal to get tattooed while under the influence of any substance. You are not able to give legal consent when you are intoxicated and honestly drugs do not improve the tattoo experience and many will make it worse. If you appear to be under the influence of any intoxicating substance, I am not legally allowed to tattoo you.

Alcohol: You are not allowed to get tattooed while under the influence of alcohol in Oregon and I will not be able to tattoo you.

Minors:

Minors are not allowed. Oregon state law requires that minors cannot be in the procedure area during a tattoo. A tattoo shop is not a safe place for children. It is required that you arrange for child care for the duration of your appointment. Arriving with children will count as a same day reschedule; you may not be allowed to reschedule, and if you are, you will lose your current deposit and will be required to place a new deposit in the amount of $200.

Hateful, rude, inappropriate, micromanaging or discriminatory behavior:

Wallflower Tattoo is committed to being an open, safe and inclusive space. Use of discriminatory or hateful language, disrespect directed towards me or others, haggling and micromanaging will result in loss of appointment. I reserve the right to refund your deposit and discontinue working with you at any point leading up to and during the tattoo appointment if you act in any manner I feel is inappropriate and counter to the ethos of the shop..
